Inviting you to sharpen your taste buds and practice your knife skills
onboard as we sail (deliciously) from Lisbon to Rome.
Confession: I am a cruise virgin. “What?!” you may ask incredulously. Yep,‘tis true, but not for long. July 10-20, I’m joining my girlhood friend Carol and renowned chef Penny Davidi on the Oceania Cruises’ good ship Riviera for ten hot days of seagoing luxury, relaxation, food and fun. Riviera is the only vessel of its kind equipped with a fully outfitted teaching kitchen, whose director is the legendary French chef Jacques Pépin.
You may know Chef Penny from her TV appearances on Chopped All-Stars, the Food Network and many others. Trust me, Penny is a rock star of Mediterranean cuisine. So we’ll be great hands at ports of call in Spain, France and Italy for some real insider’s deep-dish culinary exploration. We even get an onboard cooking class taught by Penny herself!
FYI, I won’t be working. That’s right, I’m not leading, just cruising as a novice enthusiastic passenger. I can’t remember the last time I’ve taken a trip just to take a trip, and I’m excited as all get out. This amazing adventure costs half of what it normally would with airfare included! One last bit of good news, there are still a few spaces available. You know you want to go, so book your spot and I’ll see you onboard.
